Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.  How did He do that?  The Gospels tell the historical story of Jesus' death and resurrection.  The Lamb was slain although He was innocent.  The guilt of our sins was laid on Him as Isaiah 53 describes the suffering of Jesus in detail.  What does that mean for us today?  We have an opportunity to have eternal life and have peace with God in spite of our sins.  There is no sin in heaven, but Jesus died so we could be set free from ...
